Meet Dr Lizzie

Horses have been a part of my life since I was 5 and I grew up knowing I wanted to be an equine vet.

I graduated with Honours from the Royal Veterinary College (London) in 2016 and have since worked in specialised equine practice.

In 2021, I hit the same wall many vets do - I burned out - and ended up needing spinal surgery for a herniated disc. The recovery gave me time to think.

I realised I didn’t just want to help the horses I could physically reach.

I wanted to pass on what I’d learned so horse owners could feel more prepared, more capable, and more confident in their horse's care - wherever they lived.

That's the reason Empowering Equine Education exists.
